What is Sponti?

Sponti is a last-minute deals marketplace. It connects you with nearby businesses — restaurants, salons, studios, events, hotels — that have real availability right now and are offering genuine last-minute discounts to fill it.

The core idea: some of the best experiences happen when you don't overthink them. Sponti makes it easy to say yes to something great near you without having to plan weeks ahead.

Sponti works best when you open it the same day you want to do something. Deals are last-minute by nature — the closer to the experience start time, the more deals you'll find.

The basics

How deals work

Every deal on Sponti has four defining properties:

A real business nearby: Deals come from verified local businesses. You can see their name, category, and venue before booking.
A specific time window: Every deal has a start and end time. When it expires, it's gone. This is genuine urgency — not manufactured marketing.
A fixed availability count: Businesses set how many bookings they accept. Once those are taken, the deal closes. There is no overselling.
A real discounted price: The deal price is what you actually pay. Businesses set a last-minute price below their normal rate because they need to fill capacity.

How to book a deal

Find a deal

Open Sponti. Your location is used to show deals nearby. Browse the list or map. Filter by category, distance, or deal type.

Check the details

Tap a deal to see the business, the offer, the end time, and how many slots remain. If it looks good and the timing works — book it.

Confirm and pay

Tap "Book". Payment is handled securely by Stripe. You'll see a confirmation immediately. No account linking. No checkout drama.

Show up and redeem

Show your booking confirmation to the business when you arrive. That's your proof of purchase. Most businesses just need to see the screen.

ℹ️ Note

Your bookings are accessible in the Bookings tab in the Sponti app. Active, upcoming, and past bookings are all stored there.

Deal types

Types of deals you'll see

Different businesses post different kinds of deals. Here's what each type means:

🚶Walk-in

The business has capacity right now and you can show up without a specific time slot. Perfect for restaurants with open tables or studios with open mat space.

Redemption: Show up during the deal window and present your booking.

📅Appointment

A specific time slot at a salon, spa, therapist, or personal service. You book a particular hour, not just a vague window.

Redemption: Arrive at your booked time and present your confirmation.

🎫Ticket

A reserved spot at an event, fitness class, workshop, or experience. The event has a specific start time and limited seats.

Redemption: Show your booking at the door or scan the confirmation if required.

🛍️Pickup

Surplus food, baked goods, or grab-and-go items that need to be collected within a window. Common with bakeries and cafés near closing time.

Redemption: Collect within the pickup window. Nothing to redeem — just show up and collect.

🏨Stay

A hotel room or short stay available for tonight or an upcoming date. Last-minute pricing on a specific room type.

Redemption: Check in as normal with your booking confirmation as your reservation reference.

How trust works on Sponti

Here's how Sponti protects you as a customer:

Stripe handles all payments

Your payment details are never seen by Sponti or the business. Stripe processes the transaction and stores your card details securely.

Businesses are verified

Businesses on Sponti go through a verification process including Stripe identity checks before they can accept paid bookings.

Real deal windows

Deal end times are genuine. When a deal says it ends at 7pm, it ends at 7pm. There is no extension gimmick.

🎯

Fixed availability

Businesses set how many bookings they accept. When slots are filled, the deal closes. You cannot be overbooked.

Cancellation and refund terms vary by business. Always check the deal description before confirming a booking if you're uncertain about your plans. Sponti recommends reviewing the policy before booking time-sensitive deals.

Frequently asked questions

Is Sponti free to use as a customer?

Yes. You only pay the deal price set by the business. There are no service fees added by Sponti on top.

What if the business cancels or closes when I arrive?

Contact Sponti support through the app. In cases of legitimate business-side cancellation, refunds are processed through Stripe.

Can I book for multiple people?

Availability depends on the deal. Some deals allow booking multiple slots in one transaction. Check the deal details before booking.

What if I miss my booking window?

If you book a deal and don't show up within the window, the business is not obligated to honor it. Always book only what you can realistically use.

Do I need to create an account to use Sponti?

Yes, you need a Sponti account to book deals. Your booking history and confirmations are linked to your account.

How do I contact a business before arriving?

Some businesses provide support contact details on their profile. You can also contact Sponti support from the app if you need assistance.

Are deals available in my city?

Sponti is expanding city by city. Open the app and check — deals are location-aware, so you'll only see what's genuinely near you.
